CORPORATE HOSPITALITY AT CHESTER RACECOURSE

More than two hundred thousand people a year visit Chester Racecourse for "a day at the races." There is something for everyone ‑from the family seeking a relaxing Sunday picnic to the company entertaining guests in the lavish surroundings of the Racecourse. The traditional racing highlights of the season are during the 3 day May meeting when the world of flat racing focuses on Chester.

 

Chester caters for parties of all sizes on its twelve racing days between May and September, from an intimate gathering of fourteen in a Private Box to a Paddock Marquee for three hundred guests. 

Parade Ring Marquee – May Festival 

Situated in a prime location overlooking the Parade Ring, this stylishly decorated marquee can be divided into 6 sections, or hired as a whole. Each section comfortably accommodates 40 guests for a sit down meal or 50 for a Buffet. Minimum number of guests is 32, per section of the Marquee. Please note this facility is only available during the May Festival. 

Private Boxes 

Although occupied by Annual Boxholders at many of our meetings, Private Boxes are occasionally sub‑let for the purpose of Raceday entertaining. Located on the second floor of the County Stand and on both the first and second floors of the Leverhulme Stand, each Box offers magnificent views of the Racecourse and each has a private balcony, television, telephone and kitchen. Private viewing boxes cater for between twelve and forty guests.

Paddock Rooms 

These fabulous suites overlook the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure in the centre of the Paddock Area. Situated adjacent to the Champagne Terrace in the centre of the action, they provide the ultimate venue for corporate or private entertaining. Each room can accommodate thirty two guests for a buffet or twenty four guests for a more formal sit‑down meal. This facility has the benefit of a private patio area, cloakroom and Tote Betting outlet. Minimum number of guests is twenty four per Paddock Room.

Festival Chalets 

The Festival Chalets are for the benefit of clients wishing to entertain at the May, July and August Meeting. In May, a number of these Chalets will enjoy a prime track‑side location and in July and August all Chalets will overlook the track, offering excellent viewing. We are also offering trackside chalets at our June and September meetings. Each Chalet will accommodate forty guests for a buffet or thirty guests for a more formal sit‑down meal and will be decorated to the highest of standards. The facility has its own private cloakroom and Tote Betting Service. Minimum number of guests is twenty four per Chalet. 

The Final Furlong Restaurant 

This exclusive and ever popular restaurant will again welcome racegoers for our three day May Festival Meeting. Located in the Paddock, close to the Parade Ring, this is the only pre‑bookable restaurant facility at Chester.

The Final Furlong package includes:

  • Table reserved for your exclusive use all day

  • County Enclosure Badge

  • Car Park Label

  • Racecard

  • Four Course Luncheon Afternoon Tea

  • Complementary Bar from 1 1.30am until the start of the last race. (Excludes Champagne, liqueurs and tobacco).

  • Tote Betting Facility

  • Flowers on the tables Television Viewing.

  • Each table will seat ten guests, smaller parties may be asked to share. 

The Parade Ring Restaurant 

A completely new facility with a familiar name offering a fabulous four course choice menu. This pre-bookable restaurant facility will be available on all race meetings in June, July, August and September, subject to availability. Situated in the centre of the Paddock area overlooking the Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure, the marquee will be decorated to the highest of standards, enabling smaller groups to entertain and enjoy a 'Day at the Races’.

  • Four Course Choice Luncheon Menu

  • Light Afternoon Tea (afternoon meetings only) Canapés (evening meetings only)

Gold Package

  •  Complimentary bar throughout the day (including house champagne, bottled beers and limited after dinner liqueurs)

  •  Full afternoon tea (afternoon meetings only)

  •  Canapés (evening meetings only)

  •  Floral decorations for tables

  •  Signage

Silver Package

  • Full afternoon tea (afternoon meetings only)
