CORPORATE HOSPITALITY AT GOODWOOD RACECOURSE
Glorious Goodwood’- Tuesday 31st July - Saturday 4th August 2007

The pinnacle of Goodwood’s flat racing season is, without doubt, the world famous five-day meeting in mid-summer. Generally regarded as the official closing highlight of the English Summer Season, the Festival Meeting also known as ‘Glorious Goodwood’ attracts the best from the international world of horseracing, as well as the crème de la crème of English Society.

The mood is relaxed, yet stylish. With linen suits and Panamas for the gentlemen and soft flowing dresses and outfits for the ladies, it is often described as the quintessential English summer garden party.

The Festival Meeting

Tuesday, The first day of this historic meeting features the Betfair Cup, one of the country’s most valuable and competitive races over seven furlongs.

Wednesday, The Cantor Spreadfair Sussex Stakes is Goodwood’s most prestigious race and attracts some of the best milers from Europe.

Thursday, Traditionally ‘Ladies’ Day’, the feature race of the day is the Goodwood Cup – Goodwood’s oldest race. The Audi Stakes features some of the fastest horses in training.

Friday, The totesport Mile is one of the most valuable races of its kind in Europe and is the highlight of day four. The Listed Oak Tree Stakes and Group 2 Richmond Stakes add even more quality to an excellent card.

Saturday, The final day of ‘Glorious Goodwood’ features the Nassau Stakes, one of Goodwood’s two Group One spectacles, and the Stewards Cup. The latter is one of the most popular betting races of the season.
