offers you sports based corporate hospitality opportunities at sporting and non-sporting events for corporate networking, entertaining clients, motivating staff or just having a good time with family and friends by enjoying the luxury of
wining and dining in style at the best sporting events and all national and international venues.
For some events we are the officially appointed agents by major sporting hospitality providers and event coordinators that make your special event over the top, lavish and well-executed.
Terms and Conditions of Booking
1) In these Terms and
Conditions, ‘SportsHospitality.com’ shall mean
British
Initiatives Limited.
2) Unless otherwise stated in writing, these Conditions, which supersede any
earlier sets of Conditions, shall
override any Terms and Conditions stipulated, incorporated or referred to by the
customers whether in the ‘booking’ or elsewhere and all Guarantees, Warranties,
or Conditions whether expressed or implied howsoever are excluded and hereby
negated. No amendments to these Conditions are allowed save those which may be
agreed in writing by an authorised officer of SportsHospitality.com.
3) SportsHospitality.com gives no warranty about the Event to which the package
is sold as to it’s quality, suitability or otherwise.
4) The Contract - A contract shall be deemed to have been made between
SportsHospitality.com and the booking client when the client has confirmed
requirements by letter, telex or facsimile and has paid a deposit and
SportsHospitality.com has accepted such a booking.
5.Schedule of Payment
a) A deposit as stipulated at the time of the initial booking must be paid to
SportsHospitality.com within five working days from the date of the booking.
Otherwise the booking will be cancelled and the space resold at the sole
discretion of SportsHospitality.com.
b) Final balances must be paid to SportsHospitality.com no later than ten weeks
prior to the first day of the
booked Event.
c) If the booking is made within ten weeks of the first day of the booked Event,
the deposit and the final
balance must be paid to SportsHospitality.com within five working days from the
date of booking.
d) For all invoice type “full”, payment is required within 5 days from
confirmation of the booking.
Alternatively, payment shall be by return if event is 30 days or less from
invoice date.
e) For bookings made within fourteen days of the first day of the Event and for
additions made during the Event payment must be made by an authorised credit/debit
card.
f) All payments made by credit card will be subject to a 2% service charge.
6) Tickets and other admission documents will not under any circumstances be
issued prior to receipt
and bank clearance of full payment relating to such tickets and admission
documents. Cancellation and alterations of bookings will be accepted at the sole
discretion of SportsHospitality.com. In the event of the customer wishing to
alter or cancel the booking any such alteration or cancellation must be
confirmed in writing to SportsHospitality.com. On receipt of such cancellation
or alteration instruction, the following scale of cancellation and alteration
charges will be applied:
i) Cancellations
Up to ten weeks before the first day of the booked Event Full deposit.
6-10 weeks before the first day of the booked Event Full deposit plus 50% of
final balance.
Less than six weeks before the first day of the booked Event Full deposit - plus
the final balance.
For all invoice type “full” under no circumstances shall refunds be payable in
the event of a customer
cancelling a booking.
ii) Amendment Fee
A £10 administration charge will be added to the final balance for each
amendment made to the original booking, save where the amendment increased the
size of the original booking.
7)Cancellation and amendment charges are not penalties, but a genuine
pre-estimate of the damage that would be caused to SportsHospitality.com.
8)SportsHospitality.com has no control over the running of the Event and all
details and descriptions in relation thereto are for guide purposes only.
9)SportsHospitality.com cannot be responsible or liable whatsoever, for the
non-appearance of any
individual artist, performer, player or participant
10) The details of the event shown in any material supplied by
SportsHospitality.com are correct at the time
of printing but the customer shall be responsible for checking with the event
that no alterations have been made.
11) The customer hereby acknowledge that SportsHospitality.com have no control
over the pricing policy of tickets for the Event and that any description of the
position of seats is that of the Event of which SportsHospitality.com has no
liability.
12) The tickets in any Hospitality packages sold are subject to any terms,
conditions and limitations of
liability imposed by the owners or operators of the venue for which tickets are
sold.
13) SportsHospitality.com shall not be held liable for any omissions by any
person not employed directly by SportsHospitality.com. SportsHospitality.com has
no control over the Event and does not have any and cannot accept any liability
for the actions or omissions of the organisers or operators of the Event or
their servants, agents or employees.
14) SportsHospitality.com shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense
caused by cancellation of the Event because of government action, strike, civil
commotion, national disaster or other force majeur, in no circumstances shall
SportsHospitality.com be liable for any consequential loss or damage. In any
event SportsHospitality.com’s liability shall be limited to the price of the
Hospitality Package.
15) Any complaints must be registered both on the day and in writing to
SportsHospitality.com within 14 days of the Event date. SportsHospitality.com
cannot be liable for any complaints received after that period.
16) SportsHospitality.com has no responsibility for any property or personal
effects at the Event.
17) If Hospitality Packages are to be posted to the customer rather than
collected by the customer, risk in the goods shall pass to the customer upon the
items being posted to the address given by the customer. SportsHospitality.com
shall not be liable for any loss, damage or cost arising by non-delivery and
reserves the right to levy an additional charge for issuing replacement tickets
and documents for those lost whether in the post or otherwise.
18) Hospitality Packages and Tickets in them shall not be resold or transferred
save as set out herein and shall not be purchased or obtained from or through
any commercial agent or company or otherwise than
directly from SportsHospitality.com or an appointed agent of
SportsHospitality.com. If more than one Hospitality Package or ticket is issued
to a customer those hospitality packages or tickets may be used only by those
persons intending to accompany that customer to and at the Event. The provision
of such hospitality packages and tickets by a customer to such persons without
payment shall not contravene these ticket conditions. Any hospitality packages
or tickets obtained in breach of these conditions shall be void and all rights
conferred or evidenced by such tickets shall by nullified. Any person seeking to
use a ticket in breach of these conditions in order to gain or provide entry to
or remain at an Event will be liable to be refused admission to or be ejected
from the venue and may be liable to legal action.
19) Hospitality Packages and Tickets therein shall not be used as competition
prizes , or trade incentives, nor
may they be used in raffles, tombolas, lotteries, or draws whether for
commercial or charitable purposes without the prior written authority of the
Event which may withhold such authority at its sole discretion.
20) Unless otherwise agreed these Conditions and the contract shall be subject
to and construed in accordance with English Law and subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales. It is hereby deemed that all
contracts have been made in the jurisdiction of The Central London Court.
21) SportsHospitality.com give no warranties that the event(s) or performance(s)
shall take place in the time and place stipulated or at all.
SportsHospitality.com shall not be liable to give any refund in the event of the
event(s) or performance(s) being cancelled or postponed.
22) If Clause 21 is deleted (please refer to your invoice) separate terms and
conditions, in lieu of Clause 21, will be attached.
23) By making a booking
with us you also agree to the Terms and conditions of the event organiser and/or
the venue (for which you have made the booking) as stipulated by them.
